How can there be obstacles in running a home business? It should be a fun thing, right?
In my three decades of running a variety of home businesses, and speaking to dozens of home entrepreneurs, I've found there are actually 3 main home business obstacles.

Home business obstacle #1: Know-how
With the nature of running a home business, especially when started part-time, many of us are blocked by this obstacle. Yet, this is one of the easiest obstacles to overcome.
I'm not talking about the know-how of your product or service, but the business side of things: this is the "how" and "what" of running a home business.
In all my time of running and looking at home business opportunities, I've not found anything offline that offers any kind of training or support (the only business model that I found that does this with any level of real success is the franchise model, and that needs a mega bucks investment). But I found an online business system that offers considerable training and support to almost eliminate this home business obstacle totally.
Imagine having a training manual that practically leads you by the hand, step-by-step, to start and run your own own successful online business.
This manual (text and video versions) guides you from choosing a viable site concept (subject), to finding profitable keywords (in demand phrases that people search for), to building your web site without any technical mumbo-jumbo, all the way to practical means to monetize your site, thus building your business.

Home business obstacle #2: Money
No real business can be started with zero money! Even if it's only buying a start-up kit, money is needed to start any business, even a home business.
It was Robert Kiyosaki who spoke about "good debt" and "bad debt", and this is so true.
Imagine, instead of buying that latest electronic gizmo (bad debt) on your credit card, you rather invest that money in your own real online business (good debt). And we all know what happens to the value of that gizmo, right?
Yes, it's possible to invest in your won real online business for about the same price a new electronic gizmo.
Which would you rather have: bad debt or good debt?
Home business obstacles #1 and #2 are, in reality easy to overcome...
- For obstacle #1, you get a manual (training).
- For obstacle #2, you get the money (savings, bank, etc.)
But with obstacle #3 there is no manual to help us, and we cannot go to a bank to make a withdrawl. We all have only 24 hours available to us.

Time is an extremely valuable commodity - in life, in general - and especially in a home business.
This is undoubtedly the biggest home business obstacle.
