This is a short web log, and was actually written on Thursday. The reason? We have a public holiday next Tuesday, and I've taken Monday off, so that I can complete the eaziGOAL manual.
I'm looking forward to a very productive long week-end, and will give it my best to get the eaziGOAL manual finished.
Monday I was given tragic news. The only son of a colleague was fatally injured in a motorcycle accident. He was only 17 years old. Our thoughts are with you Linda.

I had a really great break... well worth it. And it was inspiring!
I met people in Tzaneen who again enforced the principle that NOTHING matches persistence in reaching one's goal. These folk moved up to Tzaneen with the idea of farming. When things didn't go exactly to plan, they made other plans. Today they have a small holding, a house in town, and a take-away business. Great.
As I talk to more and more people about eaziGOAL, the more enlightened I become, and realize this is something that many, many people are looking for. I'm also amazed at the conception some people have about goal setting. One man laughed when he saw the name eaziGOAL, saying that "no goal is easy". This made me think that perhaps I need to explain the concept behind the name, in that it in no way means that reaching a goal is easy.
I have nearly completed a new publication. Journal of an Infopreneur details the exact steps I have and am following in reaching my goal. I will be publishing these quartely (or as close as is possible). Issue 1, covering January to March 2004 is written, and should be available very soon. I'll have news of this in next week's web log.
eaziGOAL Progress Report: the writing of the manual is nearing completion, and then it will go for editing. The companion software will undergo final testing this month. Overall the end is near.

Thank you for visiting this web log.
Can I ask for your opinion...
Consider this a small competition (no prizes though, sorry).
A company, who reports is in financial difficulty, relocates to new and bigger premises. There are no costs spared in fitting the new building out. Question: What is the goal of the company?
I spoke to friend this week, about keeping a positive attitude. I mentioned an experiment I did some years ago. I watched the TV news, and with a notepad I made two columns. On the one side I made a note of the positive things reported in the news, and on the other side I made a note of the negatives. I suggested to my friend to do this exercise, and see what he comes up with. I'll wait and see what he comes up with. You can give it a try as well. I'd really like to hear from you.
This is a subject I discuss in detail in the eaziGOAL manual, and offer practical methods to avoid negativity.
Next week there won't be any web log... I'm going to take a long week-end break. Going to Tzaneen, Northern Province.
eaziGOAL Progress Report: the writing of the manual is progressing very well. The testing of the companion software will next week. If you haven't yet, you can get a free limited version here of the eaziPEARLS software. Overall, the end is in sight.
