Aaaah, the obstacles we are presented with ;o) It is only about a week and a half now that I am finally (it seems) rid of the garbage vir.uses and other computer problems. I am extremely grateful to my son and his help. Thanks Bronson.I decided to hold over my article, "Are Your Goal Priorities Correct" (title may change), in exchange for a really great and inspiring article from my friend, David Gaskill. I believe you will enjoy this article.
It seems the article I'm working on about following one's passion are going to be a series of articles.
I have some new things planned for the eaziGOAL website - I certainly hope you will find value in this.
Thanks for reading and may you experience only the best that can be.
Your friend in success.

The Lie About David
by Dennis GaskillDavid grew up poor. He started working in the 7th grade and by high school he was only going to school half days, leaving at 11 a.m. to go to work. Lack of money meant lack of educational opportunities, but he had a hunger to learn. In his spare time he read books on human development, vocabulary builders, spiritual tomes; anything that he brought would help him succeed somewhere down the road.
He was a hard worker and rose above his lack of higher education to provide decently for his family, but the factory life was taking its toll on him physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
It was, in his mind, killing him like a slow poison.
In 1995 he bought his first computer and a few months later discovered the Internet. He wanted to be a part of it, and worked 48 or more hours a week in the factory, and worked another 40 or more hours a week teaching himself computer skills. He worked harder than he ever had in his life, logging over 100 hours a week on many, many occasions.
He taught himself how to create websites, design graphics, accounting, marketing, cost ratios, and everything else he thought he needed to know to find a place on the professional side of the Internet. He saw it as his best bet out of the factory and lack of higher education that had kept him boxed in for so long.
David began applying for jobs in the Internet and computer fields. He was shot down many times, but he never gave up. He had a goal and kept after it even when he didn't feel like it because anything else seemed so hopeless. That kind of drive and perseverance almost always pays off.
I'm happy to say David left the factory and taken a job in the computing field. He beat out college educated applicants with 4 year degrees with his self-taught skills.
This is a true story about determination. It's a story about believing in yourself. It's a story about finding what you love to do and following your dreams, and I've only told one lie while relating it to you. You see, David isn't a real person...
...this story is about me. All the hard work indeed did pay off. I got a job designing web sites for a local company. At one point this story ended here, but now there is more.
My own site right here has taken off well enough that I've left the job I worked so hard to get and now I just work for myself, right from the comfort of my own home. It's a little scary sometimes, when sales aren't good or traffic dips and ad revenue goes down, but I love what I do now - and this is the first time in over 20 years I can say that.
My hope in writing this story is that, if you have a dream, you'll be inspired enough to see it through. Don't think it can't happen because I'm proof it can, but it's up to you to make it so.
To get to Somewhere, you must start Here, right where you are. Even the farthest journey always starts with the first step.
